Lowe’s seeks to grow and diversify the list of potential suppliers that are analyzed in our purchasing of goods and services. There is a stated policy to ensure that a competitive, ethical, and professional analysis of the market is conducted with each sourcing event. This process creates a foundation for how Lowe’s chooses between qualified suppliers and drives how we analyze for the best price/value offered by and contracted with the selected supplier.

Becoming a supplier for Lowe’s is a two step process. Your company must be registered as a supplier and then your company must offer a more competitive program than others considered in our sourcing events. In order to be included and ready for these sourcing event opportunities as they arise, we request that all potential vendors complete the attached form. Once completed and confirmed by Lowe’s your company will be added to the supplier database. Your company, once recorded in the database, will be reviewed and if a project aligns with your company’s abilities (core competency, capabilities, etc.), be given an opportunity to submit a proposal. Realize that your company’s addition to the database is not the trigger for the Request for Proposal (RFP) process as the RFP is driven by the expiration of existing long term contracts and new business initiatives.
